Microbeads are tiny pieces of plastic that are added to everyday care products, like toothpaste and exfoliators, and unfortunately they end up in the oceans where they stay until someone cleans them up. This does mean that sea birds, whales, turtles and other marine life end up eating these pieces of plastic and it clogs up their stomachs. Green People have developed some marine friendly products like the fruit scrub which is much kinder to you and the sea life.
