Microbeads are tiny pieces of plastic that are added to everyday care products, like toothpaste and exfoliators, and unfortunately they end up in the oceans where they stay until someone cleans them up. This does mean that sea birds, whales, turtles and other marine life end up eating these pieces of plastic and it clogs up their stomachs. Green People sent me one of their very lovely gift sets to try out and let everyone else know about for Mothers Day.
