Yes, I had to throw in a little Game of Thrones reference there. It’s a prominent issue for any gardener though! With Winter coming we need to get our gardens ready for the colder weather and all the elements. Get rid of those dead plants, plant bulbs ready for Spring and give the garden that general tidy up. I love being in the garden and learning what to do over the seasons is really interesting.
Week 4 has seen a complete turn in events for my little sunflower seeds, out of batch 2 there are what looks like 2 survivors and even they look doubtful to grow any larger. I transferred them to these bigger pots yesterday and they clearly didn’t like them.
I am sincerely glad I purchased the propagator, or “mini greenhouse” as I like to call it, it has done the Sunflowers the world of good and they are growing really nicely. We have 2 batches of them growing in there now, some 2 weeks old and some a few days old and it is great to see them flourishing.
We love being in the garden, since moving into our new house we seem to be out there every single day as we just love gardening. We were sent some sun flower seeds, pots and useful garden tools recently as part of a competition to grow our own sun flower plants, after successfully sorting the greenhouse I thought it was about time that we put the little space to good use.
