When you go on holiday as a family it is so important that you have a great time and create those lasting memories, that stay with you forever. All of your senses come to life: the new smells, the air, the sounds and what you see all create a picture that is captured in your mind forever. Finding the right outfits can also help inspire these feelings; when we went to Spain I captured some wonderful holiday memories and when I look at my holiday dresses it makes me smile.
Did you know it’s World Earth Day on April 22nd 2021 and World Environment Day on 5th June 2021? From the plastic packaging filling land fills, to cosmetic chemicals washing away down the drain and disrupting marine life; our beauty routines can make a huge impact. Over the past year I have been looking out for eco-friendly and vegan products to introduce into my beauty regime. I am really conscious about what products I use, where they come from and how they are made. With more and more brands conscious about this too, products are easier to find and in most cases, I find, better than the originals. My quandary is; if vegan ice cream tastes the same, if not better than, normal ice cream – why not make it all vegan? Here are some products I have been using and I love them.
I struggled with what to wear at the beginning of lockdown, all of a sudden my workwear started collecting dust in the wardrobe. Loungewear and comfortable tee’s became the new work wear, no one really sees what you wear (if you turn the conference camera off). However, as lockdown continued and as my plan to work from home is long term, I want to break out of the loungewear a little. So here is my working from home style… Autumn edition.
Finding the right Spring Summer clothes, for me, I find quite hard. I am not very body confident, so I tend to go for loose clothes that feel comfortable. Obviously, I was planning a trip to Dubai too and reviewing the Protest bikini range, I found a lot of lovely bikinis that would have been perfect. So, now I am planning on wearing the clothes at home and they are perfect.
Cosmetics that are: not testing on animals, use vegan ingredients and feel good on my skin are a must for me. See it as my mini checklist if you like. The thing I love about EX1 cosmetics is that they are reasonably priced for make up, which means affordable. I love that you can grab them from your local Superdrug too. This means they are very accessible. I love the fact I do not feel like I am wearing anything either. This is a guide to the EX1 cosmetics range and a perfect makeup style for Valentine’s Day dates this weekend.
Since having both the children it is fair to say my body has completely changed. I used to be a size 6, 8 at at stretch, before children and now I am a 10 or a 12 (depending on the clothes store). People don’t believe me when I tell them but it’s true and I guess I hide it well. Well I found the correct shapewear for the perfect outfits!
It pretty much goes without saying that the aspect of Botox is certainly not something that should be taken lightly under any circumstances. After all, it is not a decision to be taken lightly or casually. It is a decision taken by a very select few people not only because it is too expensive, but there is also the fact that quite a few individuals are rather sceptical about the after-effects of Botox operations across the board. In fact, short of a few years back, hardly anyone outside of the rich community would even consider the idea of Botox since it was too expensive to afford back then. Now, however, it has gotten slightly more affordable and more people are thinking about the Botox option in general.
What a beauty of a box we got this month from Birchbox! I am making quite a collection of boxes now and November is by far my favourite. I love Birchbox because it is a fabulous way of discovering new products that are perfect for your beauty regime. Think; make up and cute little samples of creams, masks and lip balm to make you feel a little happier with every box.
