Isla was so excited to receive the Jumbo Advent Calendar from PLAYMOBIL®. We are big fans of advent calendars which you may have realised from previous years and we are also huge fans of PLAYMOBIL®. So, this review takes the format of: summary of the jumbo advent calendar and then photo by photo of what is in each box. Hugeeeee spoiler alert for this post, but for those grown ups looking to purchase the perfect calendar (I think this is it) then you need to see what you get.
It’s report time and this is the first year that we have had a “big boy report” for Noah from Year 1 and the first year they have both had a school report. It was very exciting reading them out as a family. Albeit followed by a sibling fight, which ruined the moment, hey ho! They both made Mummy and Daddy really proud with their effort and understanding. Both brilliant little mathematicians!
Like most of the family and friends that received the invite for a Plasticine & Unicorn party, you are probably laughing out loud right about now. But it worked, I promise you. We had the rainbow colours, inspired by Plasticine Softeez and the Unicorn fits in with the rainbow theme as well – there is your link! We had a family party last weekend and her friends over for fun with Plasticine yesterday. Lots of fun was had too and everyone loved their goody bags. Win!
My little baby girl is growing up by the day, bigger words, bossier tones and her love for creating is huge. When she was sent a box of Plasticine Softeez, she actually squealed and I had to capture her comments and excitement in a video. Which has ended up being her debut review on YouTube, I think she has captured the fun without the need for me to say anything else.
With Mothers Day fast approaching (Sunday 6th March) I thought it would be nice to share this little Mummy quiz that I saw floating around social media recently. It was a nice insight into what the little ones thought about Mummy. You ask them the questions and just let them answer – without coercing them into saying anything. Here are Noah and Islas responses:
My little darling, blonde locks and blue eyes, you’ve opened my world to a lovely surprise. You are beautiful on the inside and out, always entertaining with never a doubt.
I am a little late off the mark with getting April’s family photo online, but alas it is still online! Story of my life at the moment. April has been really busy: work, holidays, children’s nursery, children growing up, hubby’s fitness program and somewhere in-between all of that day to day life. We did manage to get out into the woods over Easter and got some lovely photos and a family shot. The children are getting better and better at not posing properly, or they tag team – one will smile whilst the other looks away and vice versa. I am sure they do it on purpose.
Lots to look forward to with little Isla this month, she has been developing very visually and saying lots, you can see the developments really clearly now. Which is great. I love how she is getting more independent too, she wants to do everything by herself, but at the same time is still very clinging and wants her Mummy. I love that!
