The Golden State Killer, or Joseph James DeAngelo Jr, has to be one of the most compelling cases of True Crime I have read about and watched unfold. Spanning four decades this horrific murderer thought he had got away with it... but detectives didn't give up. DNA profiling and genealogy assisted in the catching of this evil man, 40+ years after his crimes commenced. He committed at least 13 murders, 50 rapes, and 120 burglaries across California between 1974 and 1986. He was pure evil. VIEW the POST

Yes, like 1 million of you an hour or so ago, I have been watching the Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard cross examination and it is nail-biting! I watched most of the cross examination last night and I have watched pieces today and I have to say I am quite gobsmacked with what I have heard and seen. I mean why is there no evidence of any of the abuse for starters? But lots of evidence of set up tables and Johnny asleep? So many questions! Here’s my thoughts from what I have seen so far…

My love for True Crime

So, I have started this new True Crime section on my blog to give me somewhere to write about the things I have been thinking or discovered. I love reading about cases; open and closed. There's a lot to be said for learning from old cases. Little known fact; I wanted to be a criminal lawyer when I was younger and I did study Law at uni - but the path I ended up on was IT and Projects. However, I still have a huge interest in crime. I would love to be a criminal profiler if I could do it all again. So, the idea of this section is to talk about things I have watched, learned and share links to stories that might inspire further reading. VIEW the POST
