I have literally spent the past week telling myself "What have I done wrong?". One minute Noah is caring, loving and absolutely amazing. If there are any parents out there, like me, thinking there is only 6 weeks until the Summer Holidays. It is essential to plan your time. Especially if you are needing to take annual leave and book kids clubs. It is really tricky to plan quite so far in advance, you can never guarantee the weather is going to be perfect. Here are some fun activities you can do spare of the moment, any day of the holidays.
It's report time and this is the first year that we have had a "big boy report" for Noah from Year 1 and the first year they have both had a school report. It was very exciting reading them out as a family. Albeit followed by a sibling fight, which ruined the moment, hey ho! I literally do not know what to do with myself this week. It all exploded on Saturday morning and things have been a rocky roller-coaster ever since. Noah, my 6 year old, has been on and off stroppy for a few months now. Nothing too major, throwing arms around when he doesn't get his own way. Sometimes shouting at me, hitting his sister (same old there). But, something progressed at the weekend and I would really love to know WHY! VIEW the POST
My little man is turning five, I cannot believe it is true. For I still remember the day he was born and seeing my parcel of blue. Everyday he makes me so proud, he is getting his boyish charm, Starting school and making friends, our lives are never calm. VIEW the POST
It's that day, the one where I usually look on Facebook and think what is all the fuss about. The one where I never thought I would feel the way that I do: overwhelmed! We got our first choice of school, which must be some sort of miracle as it is a lovely little school and not in our catchment, but we got it. I am completely over the moon and I just know we made the right decision for our little people. VIEW the POST
Today it is little Noah’s birthdate anniversary, he is 4 years and 3 months old, yes it has been 3 months since his birthday and my last Noah update. Things have been extremely busy since his last birthday and a lot has changed, a lot has happened but little Noah is going from strength to strength except for one thing: not listening!
It's finally here, the little four, its crept up on us and is at our door. Many days and many nights, he's been growing and has been a delight. He learns all day, he learns with pride, the beaming smile he just can't hide. We love him so, you cannot deny, the happiness he gives us, why? Because he's ours and because he's a joy, my little Noah the birthday boy. VIEW the POST
My little man is growing up, incredibly so, he's learning bigger words, longer sentences and he is rather clever. I suppose all nearly 4 year olds could be described this way, but there you go. I have been told that there are children that go to school that cannot go to the toilet on their own, or write their own names yet - so with that in mind I think my little man is doing alright.VIEW the POST
I am looking forward to the developments this month as we have our summer holiday, where we can spend quality time as a family and it is so healthy for the little ones (not quite for Mummy and Daddy thought I suspect). We are off on our holidays tonight and Noah is really looking forward to flying on a plane. I don’t blame him.

Noah is growing up! That is really the main topic for August and this month he has shown that he understands a lot better than he did last month and he reacts differently to things. All signs that the little man is developing from a toddler to little boy - even in photos he is looking more grown up. VIEW the POST
I think July may be the month that we see a little change in Noah; I have noticed over the past week or so that he seems so grown up! He doesn’t play up in restaurants, he doesn’t make a scene in public places anymore – but deary me is he loud! Constantly shouts, shouts for attention and just shouts in general. Do his ears not work?
We have been having a lot of fun this month, learning bigger words and sentences, learning our alphabet and recognising letters - but we are still hitting our little sister! I hope this will end soon, I am getting so worried he will end up really hurting her one day. VIEW the POST
This month we seem to have gone full circle back to a year or so ago when all he wanted to do was hit, scratch and bite his sister - steal all the toys from her and moan about it when we try to correct him. As if he doesn't have enough toys the little monkey. This is only some times and only some days, it is like he wakes up with the "mean streak". VIEW the POST
This months Me & Mine is coming from our little National Trust adventure at Anglesey Abbey over the Easter holidays, I couldn’t resist using them as they are just so fun and colourful. I love happy, bright and colourful photos of us all. It was lovely to get some up to date shots of everyone too, Isla seems to be changing dramatically every month – I think it’s the hair…
I'd say this month has been the month of whinging and whining, I have never known anything like it! Despite knowing that he can do the things he whines about, he insists on whining about them and this includes crying until you just do them for him. I do hope this is a phase... VIEW the POST

Each month I say that Noah tests and I talk about the naughty things he does to push everyone's buttons and I thought it was easing off, until we approached this month. Naughty, irritable and a ratbag are 3 words I would readily use to describe his behaviour. But then at the same time he is being a very helpful, polite and beautiful little boy. How is that so? It’s been a rough time over Christmas, Noah managed to bag a really horrible bug on Christmas morning and this stayed with him over our New Year holiday as well. Such a shame that it came at the worst time of year, when you want to celebrate and be happy and playful. Despite this we have come on in leaps and bounds with a lot of things, we are very proud little parents.
A tough month, lots of changes and a few words to sum up our little Noah: defiant, testing and independent. Sound familiar? It's almost like he has learnt to say the word "no" properly and complete with actions - so it must mean more now. Bedtime is just not the same anymore either... VIEW the POST
