Having children is one of the joys of life. Literally, the fruits of your labour will one day stop being that little bundle of joy in the cot sleeping so soundly and be a growing child bounding around. Its part of growing up to not know your strength, and that’s what playing around is all about. Children get to be free and learn what they’re capable of and how much fun it is to be a little carefree. The rough and tumble of play are best reserved for outside the house and in the garden. VIEW the POST

You may have seen on social media recently that a heartbroken Mum took to a live video where she was deeply distressed and had one message: do not let your children out on scooters, skateboards or bikes without a helmet. Her daughter is a lot older than my children but the message came across loud and clear. I will never let them go on their scooters without their helmets, no matter how short the distance. It is something that I have always thought about, right from when I didn't have children. How would I make sure my children grow up to respect money and "earn" it as well. I didn't really get regular pocket money growing up, but for one stage I did get pocket money when I completed a list of chores. VIEW the POST

My little baby is growing up and finally talking, not just the odd word here or there, we have actual phrases and describing words which tell us exactly what she wants. Life is so much easier, especially at night times when she is crying, "milk" bless her. VIEW the POST
