5 Craft projects you’ll love to get into as new Mum

5 Craft projects you’ll love to get into as new Mum

Motherhood is beautiful. Motherhood is divine. Motherhood is fulfilling. But it is also a painful, exhausting, and difficult recovery process that every new mother has to go through to get back on track with other equally important aspects of her life, such as her career, physical health, mental wellbeing, and friends & family. While all of them are recommended to take a complete rest, relax at home, and take care of their physical health, there are many other ways a new mother can de-stress, especially if they are interested in creating art. These would fulfill their artsy bug while helping them feel at ease.  I loved taking on craft projects when I became a Mum. VIEW the POST

The frantic juggle of homeschooling and homeworking

I have been thinking a lot about the past year and how we deal with the juggle of homeschooling and working from home. It is really tough and a lot of parents are struggling. We have tried 2 different tactics during this time, the first lockdown was different to this time around. Here are my tips on how to manage the juggle and some interesting stats from parents who are currently trying to master the juggle! VIEW the POST

2019 photo challenge February day 24

Today’s keyword for the #mummyphotoaday photo challenge, February day 24, is “family”. It was so nice to see these little ones playing today, #family is everything and they love their cousins very much! It’s nice to see the garden coming to life too, the sunshine has brought out all of the flowers and things are starting to look very pretty! Hubby has got rid of the pond and waterfall this weekend too, so it’s all go now. We need decking or a patio! 😱 #mummyphotoaday

2019 photo challenge February day 23

Today's keyword for the #mummyphotoaday photo challenge, February day 23, is "rainyday". It was the opposite of a #rainyday today! The weather has been absolutely amazing in February so far... it was so nice seeing the children playing outside. Isla loves her @poopsieslimesurprise Poopsie Cutie Tooties! There’s slime all over the house haha. Daddy and I managed to clear out the potting shed, greenhouse and given some bits and pieces an undercoat ready for colour tomorrow! A busy and productive day. I love the sun in our garden... #mummyphotoaday VIEW the POST

2019 photo challenge February day 22

Today's keyword for the #mummyphotoaday photo challenge, February day 22, is "Friday". 6:15am Noah demands a Brighton & Hove football shirt for the last day of football club and Isla needs to dress up as a pirate. To say it’s been a busy morning is an under statement. However, I’m quite impressed. Hand drawn Brighton shirt and pirate dress made out of bits I had around the house 👌🏻. Thank goodness it’s #friday. #mummyphotoaday VIEW the POST

2019 photo challenge February day 21

Today’s keyword for the #mummyphotoaday photo challenge, February day 21, is “tasty”. We worked up quite an appetite at lunchtime, exploring these new dog friendly fields. Well, new to us. Such wonderful views. I could have sat there and taken photos of Isla all afternoon. It started off quite grey and cloudy, it’s just beautiful when the sun comes out. We walked back home and had a #tasty cheese on toast lunch! What is it with cheese on toast? It tastes amazing. Especially when you are so hungry. It’s my ultimate comfort food option. #mummyphotoaday
