We had a fabulous time at Ashwell Springs yesterday, we put on our wellies and went into the stream to splash around and have some fun. The springs offer a stepping stone area, waterfall (albeit a tiny one) and shallow water – perfect for little feet to splash around. We also took the GoPro to get some underwater footage, it was the first time we had done it and I was very excited that it turned out really well!
As with most events that involve water and small children, they ended up getting soaked but they really enjoyed their time at the Springs. When they had got too wet, we took off our wet clothes and sat and had a lovely picnic in the sun. It was so warm and sunny down there as it was down some steps so it was nice to get out of the wind. I don’t really need to say too much as I think our little video says it all, I hope you enjoy it too and if you are ever in the Hertfordshire area it is worth a visit:
Gorgeous photo’s, the kids look like they’re having a fab time #CountryKids
this looks like a really lovely place to visit. We went to something similar last year.
Aw it looks like a gorgeous day and I love the video! Such a cute little family. I might have to persuade Mr E to take a trip here. x
