Summer Holiday family fun camping in Woolacoombe #Travel

We love Woolacoombe, we have been there a few times and we have always been so lucky with the weather. Booking a family fun camping trip seemed like a brilliant idea. We have never been to such a large campsite before, there was so much to do Woolacoombe Bay you won 5 stars from us! I read my top tips for camping with small children before we went, handy tips.  VIEW the POST

An autumnal walk in the woods #CountryKids

An autumnal walk in the woods #CountryKids

It's been a while since I have participated in #CountryKids, I couldn't resist this weekend. We went for a lovely walk in the woods yesterday and I managed to get some lovely photos. This is what October is all about in my opinion. Coats on, snuggly hats on and wellies of course. Fresh, crisp air and mountains of brown, crispy leaves to jump in.  VIEW the POST

Audley End – Minature Railway and Fairy woodland

Audley End – Minature Railway and Fairy woodland

The perfect place for little girls and little boys: a train ride, in fact two trains, an adventure playground and a beautiful woodland full of fairies. What more could you need on a day out? This is our CountryKids post for this week as it was just a lovely day out in a perfect piece of Essex countryside. The villages surrounding Audley End are absolutely beautiful. VIEW the POST

#CountryKids – Ashwell Springs

#CountryKids – Ashwell Springs

We had a fabulous time at Ashwell Springs yesterday, we put on our wellies and went into the stream to splash around and have some fun. The springs offer a stepping stone area, waterfall (albeit a tiny one) and shallow water - perfect for little feet to splash around. We also took the GoPro to get some underwater footage, it was the first time we had done it and I was very excited that it turned out really well! VIEW the POST
