How to toddler proof your garden

How to toddler proof your garden

We want our children to play outside and reap all the scientifically proven benefits that spending time in a garden can bring. Studies have shown that patients in hospitals who have a view of nature outside their window tend to recover faster than those without. Although having a little explorer or two can pose a challenge as we want to ensure that they are always safe. It seems so long since I had a toddler roaming around, but I thought these toddler proof tips were useful. VIEW the POST

A guide to making Christmas gift tags

A guide to making Christmas gift tags

A great way to glam up some of those little gifts you have still yet to wrap, why not try making a little extra special gift tag? It will not only make your little gifts, look a lot more, everything always look better with a bit of tender loving care! In this guide I have used a simple nail varnish, which costs around £4. Noah – 4 years

It’s finally here, the little four, its crept up on us and is at our door. Many days and many nights, he’s been growing and has been a delight. #CountryKids – Autumn Art

Yesterday we took a stroll in the deep dark wood, with our wellies and coats, and our picnic food. A bucket for collecting great things on the way, to take home and make art with on another day. We had great fun in the leaves and exploring up trees, outdoor fun at its best and the children were pleased. I love our little welly walks, wrapped up nice and snug, with the camera in tow - its any excuse for a hug! VIEW the POST

#CountryKids: a leaf throwing adventure

Yes! I can finally say that I am so happy to see autumn: cool days where we can wrap up warm and venture to a forest or park and throw autumn leaves around and have the most fun! We spent a couple of hours walking around our local RSPB this weekend, it was a lot of fun and that goes for the adults too. These photos make me incredibly happy, my favourite people and my favourite time of year. VIEW the POST

Noah – 3 years and 11 months

My little man is growing up, incredibly so, he’s learning bigger words, longer sentences and he is rather clever. I suppose all nearly 4 year olds could be described this way, but there you go. I have been told that there are children that go to school that cannot go to the toilet on their own, or write their own names yet – so with that in mind I think my little man is doing alright.
