The warmer weather is here, it seemed to take it’s time, but it did arrive with a bang last week. What a difference a week can make though? This week has been full of rain, showers most days, monsoons on others. This is what I love about this Country though, the diversity and the fact my boot has to have wellies, rain coat, umbrella, woolly hat and my flip flops – all just in case! It was fun getting out with the kiddies this week, despite the rain, we embraced it and it was quite a lot of fun.
I found this spot in the park near where we live, I tell you now there will be a lot more photos from this row of trees as I loved the way the photos came out. Does anyone else have a favourite spot? I hope you enjoy these happy photos as much as I do, they make me smile! The rain isn’t all that bad…
Thank you @CoombeMill for featuring our photo on #CountryKids this week! I would love to know what your favourite family photo spot is in the comments below or on social media @mummyconstant.

April 28, 2018What lovely happy photographs! Our favourite place for taking photos is a local beach – it is a lovely natural setting as it is totally unspoiled. Not letting the rain spoil the fun is so important – friends used to think I was crazy when I would put the children into all over waterproof suits and take them puddle jumping.

April 29, 2018Oh your favourite spot is great – I do love the way the trees are. You are very organised having all that in your boot – I don’t know why I always am surprised at the weather and do need to get our 10 year old new wellies

April 29, 2018What beautiful photos. It looks like your children had a lovely time at the park in spite of the colder rainy weather and it does look like a beautiful place for photos too. I can imagine that it is even lovelier on a sunny day. #countrykids

April 29, 2018Such a stunning et of photos, I’ve been loving seeing them all on Instagram this week. Your children are so photogenic, take all the photos you can while they still let you! A lovely row of trees and backdrop to your photos. My favourite place is a tough one, I’d say probably up in our deer field or around our lake.
Thank you for sharing your fun selection on #CountryKids

May 2, 2018These are beautiful photos! And what a gorgeous spot, it would be nice to see how it changes through the seasons. We have a collection of photos from the same spot in a local National Trust parkland and I love taking them and seeing how our family grows over time. #countrykids
