Are you one of those families that has a Winter duvet and a Summer one? We used to be. However, we recently discovered Night Owl by The Fine Bedding Company. They are coverless duvets that look stylish on your bed and are easy to keep clean too. It’s great for Summer, but also great to keep on top of bacteria in your home during lockdown. It is a great cleaning hack.
The duvets come in 4.5 tog and 10 tog. The 4.5 tog is perfect for the warmer months. I love the colours they come in, making them look very stylish. You can, of course, still put a cover on the duvet if you wish. The coverless duvet is easy to keep clean as you simply pop it in the washing machine, and it dries in just 90 minutes. Perfect for a bedding washing day!
The duvets are made with innovative compressible fibres which means when you put it in the washing machine, it squashes into the drum easily and it comes out plump and fluffy after the wash. Such a great idea. They really are beautifully soft too.
We got Aurora for our bed and Isla’s bed and the Grey Marl for Noah’s bedroom. I love the grey and red finish; it looks really stylish. They come in a compact duffle bag which is great to use for transporting the duvet, if you wanted to use it for camping or staycations after lockdown. It really is super soft too, the animals just love them and I don’t mind because I can wash them frequently now.
Have you ever got frustrated when your duvet moves about within the covers too? Well, say goodbye to that with Night Owl as you do not need to cover them you do not have to worry about the wonky bedding. That is one of my biggest annoyances with bedding.
