I am a firm believer in wearing something glitz and sparkly for Christmas and New Year. But I always need a little New Years Eve outfit inspiration. Whether it is a little bit of sparkle in a collar on your tunic dresses or an entire sequin dress made to sparkle. I also love shoes, having shoes that are a bit different is my thing. What is hot this for NYE 2015?
Tunic dresses
Tunic dresses are a great outfit idea that can be worn for that family meal, and nipping to the pub afterwards, then going out in the evening too. They can be transformed by just changing footwear, or jackets. There are also so many varieties that you can find the perfect dress for a big NYE party.
Sequins
Sequins are in for this festive season, or any kind of event – whatever excuse you need really. There are so many styles, full sequins or just a bit of dazzle. From high street shops to high end stores. There is something for everyone in the sequin department.
Knee length skirt
I have noticed that there are a lot of knee length skirts on the shelves this season, from sparkly pleated skirts to jacquard midi skirts. They look fabulous with a nice plain and simple top, or even a glittery and sparkly top. Depending on what type of skirt you have of course. A patterned midi skirt, with sparkles and a plain black vest top looks perfect with heels.
Sparkly heels
You could be wearing a plain black outfit and having the sparkly shoes will transform that it into the perfect party attire. I love shoes. Having weird and different shoes is my thing. So finding special New Years Eve ones are a fun task. Nudes and golds are all over the internet, I found some beautiful nude and gold sparkly ones. I am not very good with heels these days, so I try to go for a heel that isn’t too high. Whilst browsing I did come across these wonderfully gold sparkly shoes, they are flat, but I think you could pull these off for NYE.
