Today we are off on a mini adventure for half term. Not far away, but far enough away to make it a mini break. The stay, play and explore offer is great for families to go and enjoy the sites of Leicestershire and it includes an overnight stay too. A perfect way to spend some quality time together and do something different.
The stay, play and explore offer is for a short break, for 2 adults and 2 children and it includes three attractions (from the list provided) and a hotel stay with breakfast. You can buy extra tickets if you have a larger family, so it really is flexible and suits all. The choices of activities are from zoo’s, to farms to the space centre in Leicester itself. A lot to do, inside and outside for all the family. 
Our half term plan
Our plan is to go straight to Conkers and enjoy some inside/outside fun, crafting and exploring. Its right in the national forest, there is outdoor parks and inside play areas. They also have hi and lo ropes, which look like fun. We are really excited.
We are then going to make our way to the hotel and maybe go for a swim, have some dinner and get a big nights sleep ready for a big day of fun tomorrow. We are off to Twinlakes Theme Park for the day – they have a Halloween themed experience going on at the moment, which looks like a lot of fun.
