It was biscuit week on The Great British Bake Off last night, so I got into the spirit of things and made my very first batch of biscuits and I was pleasantly surprised at the outcome. I had been given a fantastic recipe from Tate & Lyle for Raspberry jam drop biscuits and adapted it slightly to make my own version with what I had in the cupboards.

August 14, 2014They look lovely and it’s nice to have a go at really traditional biscuits sometimes. I don’t think I’ve had ones like this since I was a child so it does bring back nice memories of visiting my gran.

August 17, 2014Oh these look gorgeous! My kids would love them. I love biscuit recipes where you don’t have to put them in the fridge and wait ages to bake them!
