Today’s keyword for the January photo challenge day 9, is “time”. It’s true what they say “don’t wish the years away!” When the kiddies were younger, the struggle was really hard. I spent the best part of years wishing for that next hurdle. I can’t wait until they’re crawling. I can’t wait until they’re walking. I can’t wait until they’re talking. I can’t wait until they go to school. I was told, by various people, that I shouldn’t wish those years away. Sure enough now I say the opposite – if only I could hold my babies again and them not be embarrassed or sit staring at them (and that not feel weird for either of us). The truth is I spent the best part of Isla’s first few months miserable. I cried everyday. I didn’t cope at all well. For no particular reason other than hormones I suspect and tiredness. I wished a lot away and now all I wish is I could go back in #timeto not wish it all away and enjoy the moments! It’s funny how this world works… I definitely learnt my lesson the hard way #mummyphotoaday
January photo challenge
Thank you for joining in with this photo challenge in 2018, I love it! It is quite addictive. I hope more people get involved this year. I love the subjective element to the photo challenge. Everyone’s perspective of the theme of the day is different. It has made me smile seeing all of the images so far. I am very excited about doing a round up of my favourites. Thank you so much for the support in my latest adventure.
Here are the January prompts as a reminder, I would love for you to join in. Take a look at the photos that have been uploaded so far #mummyphotoaday.
Get the right tags
In order to join you will need to use the hashtag #mummyphotoaday and link to @mummyconstant if you can. That way I can include the photos in the round ups. Also, other people that are joining in will be able to find your photos too.
