Winter is coming, which means you need to take some time to maintain your garden. When the colder months come around, we tend to direct our efforts to our homeโs interiors, looking into insulation and revamping the space to better suit the Christmas festivities. But we do need to think about our outdoor spaces too. Not only does this help the space to stay looking presentable, but it will reduce the amount of work you have to put into gardening in the spring. Lockdown 3 is a lot different to the first lockdown. I know I am not the only one to think that. In the Spring it was bright, sunny, dry and getting out in the garden was easy. We also had lots of space to use for quiet office space, our conservatory for example. This time around we are all trying to use the same spaces and we are not getting out into the garden as much. We also do not have the luxury of being a pretend teacher this time as we have so much work to do! Here’s what we need for lockdown with school children:

The shortest month of the year certainly didn’t live up to it this year. It feels like February has been about 60 days long. People normally say that about January, but it certainly feels like this month to me.
