YES! I finally did it: booked my ticket to Britmums Live and made sure that the family vacation was not booked up at the same time. Phew. The past two years I have tried to go to Britmums Live but our family holiday has been booked too. I am super excited to go this year and meet new faces, put faces to names and twitter handles and also learn. Learn, learn, learn! So here is a little about me and why I am going, looking forward to sharing my experiences over the next 5 weeks.

Is this your first blogging conference? Yes and I am so excited, I really can’t wait.
Are you attending both days? Definitely. Looking forward to the awards, the seminars and the networking.
What are you most looking forward to at BritMums Live 2015?
I think the main thing I am looking forward to is meeting other bloggers, bloggers who I feel like I know so well from reading their blogs and following their photos on social media. Bloggers like Katie from MummyDaddyMe who I have seen in the past and who I live 10 mins from and I dont see very often to bloggers such as Lucy from CapturebyLucy who I have never met and live hundreds of miles from, not forgetting the lovely Fiona from Coombe Mill too, always a friendly smile, hug and coffee from her. There are so many wonderful bloggers out there that my “to meet” list is growing and growing: The boy and me, to give Jennie Edspire the biggest hug that my tiny arms can muster, Lauren from The real housewife of Suffolk, Jaime from the Oliver’s Madhouse and another Britmums Live newbie Colette from We’re going on an adventure – just to name a few.
What are you wearing?
I am still trying to source my outfits for Britmums Live 2015, but something pretty from Coast is definitely on the agenda so watch this space! I love dressing up and going out so this will be a fab opportunity to strut my stuff, with other like minded bloggers too!
What do you hope to gain from BritMums Live 2015?
I hope to gain friends and learn how to be a better blogger, do things differently, think about things differently and I am really keen to start something. Whether that be a linky that people want to get involved in or something similiar I am not sure, but I want to do something creative and innovative. I am a creative person and I want to let those creative juices free. Getting inspiration from some of the other bloggers there and brands will be priceless over that weekend. My brain will be exhausted on the Saturday evening.
Do you have any tips to pass on to others who may not have been before?
Well if like me this is your first time, nerves are good is my advice. Nerves means you care. If you care you will learn more and I am sure that the nerves will feed adrenaline which will make the weekend a better one. Just dont be too nervous to say hello to anyone… come and find me – I will talk to everyone!
If you are going to BritMums Live too this year then please please do let me know, comment below or say hi on social media. I would love to hear from you and add you to my “to meet” list above! 🙂
its my second time this year and I’m so nervous. I’ll be coming with my youngest. I will look out for you there.
You’re so right about the nerves! Good point! See you there! Xx
Aw this is the first year I won’t be there which is a shame! Would have loved to have seen you! x
Oh no Katie I just assumed you were going. I am gutted I won’t get to catch up with you. 🙁 x
Yay! I literally cannot wait to see you!!!! xxxx
OMG I am so excited! I feel a little star struck to be honest… meeting the famous Lucy 🙂 xx
Oh you are going to have such a blast – especially after wanting to come for such a long time!! It sounds like you know exactly what you want to get out of the weekend, so just go and have a fantastic time and soak everything in 🙂
