Week 4 has seen a complete turn in events for my little sunflower seeds, out of batch 2 there are what looks like 2 survivors and even they look doubtful to grow any larger. I transferred them to these  bigger pots yesterday and they clearly didn’t like them.

I just cannot believe it, how can we be so unlucky and have lost all of the sunflower plants, well the majority. So out of batch 1 we have a sunflower growing, week 4 and it is about 15cm’s in height and out of batch 2 which are a couple of weeks old – we have 2 that look like they will not last through the night and the rest look dried up. I am shocked. Fingers crossed we can keep the remaining sunflower from batch 1 growing nicely, I have moved him back to the greenhouse (up high) for a bit of protection until it is a bit bigger and I might just keep him in a pot as I have some larger pots.

Oh poor flowers! I kill everything I try and grow – would love a vegetable patch but I’d be scared they wouldn’t last and I wouldn’t keep up with it! Keep going they may surprise you πŸ™‚
