We love reviewing toys over at the Constant household, Noah was super excited to receive the new Dragon Ball figures from Bandai UK. Dragon Ball is one of the most successful manga and anime series of all time. Now, kiddies can bring to life the characters in their own home with these action figures from Bandai.
Limit Breaker – Ultra Instinct Goku
As part of the limit breaker series, they have 30cm figures and we received Ultra Instinct Goku. The first thing we tried is standing him up, he does stand up on his own. Which is always a bonus when playing with action figures. They have 5 points of articulation: head, arms and legs. Noah gave him a thumbs up, he is “super cool”. You can buy this action figure for £14.99.
Dragon Stars – Piccolo and Super Saiyan 2
The Dragon Stars range are 17cm high, so a little smaller than the Limit Breaker series. They have a whopping 17 points of articulation: they have bends in their legs and arms, waist and head. These figures can be posed in over 9,000 positions. It’s amazing. Great for playing and recreating scenes from the anime series. Noah received Piccolo and Super Saiyan 2. These characters are £19.99 each.
We loved the fact that these figures come with spare hands, you can transform their positions and be more creative with play by swapping their hands over. You can pull them all apart too, which Isla and Noah loved doing and rebuilding them. It’s amazing how many different positions you can manipulate them into. Noah has had lots of fun emulating fights with these figures.
Super Collectible figures
And finally we received a couple of the blind bag versions of the characters: super collectible figures. At £2.99 a bag, they are a great pocket money collectible and they come with a little stand to show off your new characters too. They are so cute at 5cm high.
There is more to the range too, it doesn’t stop here! They have the Final Blast range (£14.99 each), the Spin Battlers Training Pack (£4.99), Spin Battlers Action pack (£9.99) and Evolve action figures (£24.99 for 2 figures).
You can buy these Dragon Ball sets in Smyths Toys, Argos, Game and B&M.
AD – Bandai sent Noah these toys in exchange for our honest review and all opinions and photos are my own.
These look great for older kids (maybe a bit fiddly for younger ones?)
