Another week, another challenge with my Canon PIXMA MG7150 and its cracking facilities that come inbuilt – it is genius. This weeks #challenge 2, is all about its fantastic inbuilt features and one of them called “Creative Park Premium” which is a great way of printing out activity sheets for children (and Mummy!).

My second challenge from Canon is “Select a paper craft activity for your kids from CREATIVE PARK PREMIUM. Print a template directly from the printer screen using PIXMA Cloud Link and post images of what you’ve created onto your Facebook page and blog“, my plan was to take this activity camping and the children can make a mini model Daddy, I mean monkey – it didn’t really work out like that.

The process of cutting and sticking together is so tricky that you need to be an older child to do this, my little ones would have ripped it to pieces. So Mummy had a go… You have sheets for instructions and other sheets for cutting out the pieces, per the instructions. It is really simple to follow and quite therapeautic if you like this sort of thing. It took me quite a long time as I had glue which took ages to set, but I gave it a go anyway.

You have to cut all the little parts up, they are number and colour co-ordinated so you cannot really go wrong. As you can see from the photo above, this is the first part for the monkeys head and the bits are incredibly small and you really need a steady hand and concentration to get it all sticking together properly.
