When was the last time you and your girlfriends got-together? When you’re a busy mum, a fearless career woman or both it’s not always easy to find the time to spend with those you love and appreciate the most. Which is why, you should get together with your girlfriends one weekend, reach out to your friends, call a babysitter and have some fun!

Try something spiritual

Have you ever considered a psychic reading or visiting a medium? People have sought guidance and advice from those with psychic powers for centuries. So, if you have a burning question, want to reach out to someone who has passed away or you want a little guidance on a particular subject, why not head to a psychic reading? Take part in a spiritual circle or try a reading through Mediumchat, just click the link if you want to find out more.

Enjoy some home-baked treats!

There’s no such thing as calories when you’re cooking up a storm with your best friends in the kitchen. Try your hands at a new baking recipe, get to grips with a new pastry or hone your icing and cake decorating skills. You’ll have loads of fun and get to eat everything you make afterwards, what could be better?

Plan a picnic

Plan a picnic in the park, or somewhere with a fantastic view and get everyone to bring along something for the picnic. You can spend the entire afternoon enjoying the sunshine, or watching the kids play if they come along too.

Hit the gym

Many of us suffer from gym anxiety because we struggle with the idea of going to the gym alone. So, why not bring your friend along? You can figure out the machines together, support and encourage each other too. You might also find it easier to follow to a fitness plan and keep to your fitness regime easier if you have a friend in tow. It’s a great way to spend time together.

Head for a drive

Was there a time when you and your girlfriends would drive around, heading to nowhere in particular and sing-along to your favourite tunes? Why not recreate those epic moments right now? Hit the road, drive around, belt out your favourite tunes and maybe stop for some sweet treats along the way.

Enjoy a glass of wine

Ok, so this one seems self-explanatory, but you don’t need to get dressed up and sit in a crowded bar, shouting over the noise as you try to have a conversation. Invite your friend round for a glass of wine and stick to PJs and slippers instead. You can relax, enjoy a meaningful conversation and laugh until your sides hurt with your girlfriends one weekend.

Head for afternoon tea

What could be better than dainty little sandwiches and pretty pastries piled high on delicate plates and cute cups filled with coffee and tea? Afternoon tea is a wonderful, girly experience where you can spend quality time together and enjoy a good meal! Bliss.

When the world gets back to normal these are definitely things to put on my to do list, I think girlfriends time is going to be one of my priorities. I miss their faces already! From planning holidays together or just a simple coffee. I will definitely be getting together with my girlfriends one weekend.
