Today was a little better, Dad was absolutely worn out and I let him snooze all morning. It was nice to see snippets of Dad back with a little joke or smile. His moods went in waves, one minute OK and the next reminiscent. I guess it will be like that for a long time to come. He is managing the basics though, he didn’t have a choice with me around: drinking, eating and sleeping. Also lots of lovely hugs from his grand kids too – which always helps! The evening sunset was fabulous, I really enjoyed my dog walk whilst Isla was at dance – she is doing really well and really into her class. Which is great after the fiasco we had when she was younger!
