The lovely dotcomgiftshop sent me this beautiful oil cloth weekend bag, just in time to take it on a day trip to the beach with us.
When it first arrived I was pleasantly surprised, it came really well packaged and folded in such a way that when unfolded, it didn’t distort the bag shape or put horrid creases across it. It was ready to pop open and be used, which was a good job as we received this the day before our beach trip to Norfolk. It came in very handy, because the material of the bag is oil cloth it didn’t mind being on the damp sand and kept everything inside protected from getting wet and/or dirty. There was not one spec of sand in the bag when we got home – which to be honest is a miracle!
The Paisley Park Oilcloth Weekend Bag is £29.95 on the dotcomgiftshop online shop and you can buy the same style bag in a few different patterns for the same price. It is 50cm x 15cm and 32cm high, so you can fit a lot of things in it. We stuffed it with spare clothes, nappies, wipes, snacks, drinks, camera, phones and a towel for when we were on the beach and there was still room to put more inside.
Inside the bag it is lined with a lovely soft pink material with white spots and it really goes with the exterior design and there is a zipped pocket to keep smaller items in. The inside is wipe clean friendly as well as the outside of the bag, so its a great bag for busy families, like us.
We took the weekend bag with us, on our weekend trip to the beach in Norfolk, we have taken it on our over night trips and we have used it when the little ones go to Great Grandmas for the day. It really is handy for everything and anything, I am very tempted to use it as my handbag so I can see it everyday and let’s face it – I probably won’t be the first one!
