A wintery day at my favourite beach: Wells-Next-The-Sea

A wintery day at my favourite beach: Wells-Next-The-Sea

I adore the beach at Wells-Next-The-Sea, from the carpark with the new Joules hut to the miles and miles of sand. I do not think we have ever been there and had a bad experience, it's great for the dogs and the children as there is just so much to do and so much space to explore too.  VIEW the POST

Just an ordinary walk with my little family

Just an ordinary walk with my little family

As you  may have gathered from the title of this post, it is just a little walk (30 minutes to be precise) that I was able to practice getting the focus right on my new lens. What's the point of having these wonderful things if you can't take gorgeous photos of your family with them? So this is the Sony Alpha camera that I got for Christmas with a 50mm (f1.8) lens on. We had an amazing time out and about, but also inside the barn too.  …

Family time and outdoor fun in our local park

Family time and outdoor fun in our local park

Family time is really important to me, both with extended family and our little house hold of four humans and three furbabies. When we do get time to spend together we usually throw on something warm, in this weather, and head to the woods or a park. There are lots of pockets of woodland walks around our house, or National Trust parks, but sometimes all you need to do is find a park nearby and let the kids have fun and explore.   VIEW the POST

A family walk in the woods

A family walk in the woods

Last Sunday morning we took a walk in the woods near our home, literally a 10 minute drive and we ended up in a great spot. Perfect for autumnal photos too as there was a nice long row of trees either side of the leafy scattered path ways. The children were free to roam about and have fun safely, the perfect kind of family walk in the woods!  VIEW the POST
