My 1st Years have created a fanstastic infographic showing all the things about a babies 1st birthday, to celebrate little Prince George’s first birthday.  Babies have incredible 1st years and Prince George is no exception, I loved looking back at all the things babies go through in their first year. It was great to reminice…

This weekend has seen a major boost in confidence from both Isla and Noah, we have been walking at every opportunity and talking at every opportunity. I can’t quite believe that both of my babies are hitting some incredible milestones, at what appears to be, at once!

My little dinky Isla Rae is going to be 1 years old in 2 weeks time, I remember when Noah turned one and I felt like the year had gone so quickly and in comparison this year has gone so much quicker. We have done so much this year, including a trip on an aeroplane…

> With only a month to go until the little lady is a whole 1 years old, we are making the most out of her being a “baby”. She still looks far too tiny to be classed a toddler – but I suppose the inevitable is going to happen.

So we are now 10 months old (10th March 2013), we haven’t really grown very much but we are learning a lot more and gaining more understanding of the world around us. It is really fascinating to watch her at the moment, she stares at Noah so hard that you can tell she is working…

It has been a busy month, Isla is learning so much and doing so much, its incredible. Topped off with the things Noah is learning and the rate he is developing, its the most overwhelming process to be a part of. I couldn’t imagine doing anything other than watching my children grow up and noting…

We are 5 months in and loving it, we are nearly sleeping well, still the odd wake up call but its usually once a night for a quick milk top up! They both have their odd nights where they cant settle, not sure why, Noah’s been waking up a lot too – poorlyness I think.

Ardo has developed a brand new range of Breastpumps and nursing aid products. These new products have been developed with the purpose of meeting both the personal requirements and individual needs of mothers and their babies. Personal requirements for me were ease, comfort, efficiency and discreetness. I wanted to be able to use this pump…

At 20 weeks, we are doing quite a lot of things and compared to Noah she still seems so tiny. She loves standing up in her “spaceship” which is great as it really helps me when I need to attend to Noah or quickly do some housework – yes it is known that I clean…

I have been receiving some really useful info in my BabyCenter UK newsletters recently. One of them being on sleep and how much sleep little ones should get a night & day time naps. I would say its pretty close to Islas sleeping patterns, she usually sleeps 10 hours at night with a feed break…

This week Isla has been showing off her grabbing skills, She's been playing with all of her toys and really gripping them. Her hand – eye co-ordination has developed really well over the past week, it's like she's grown up all of a sudden. No longer a little newborn, she's a big girl! We've been…

At 14 weeks, Isla is still not sleeping all night, there is no pattern to her sleeping at all really. One night she sleeps until 1am, another it will be a 3am wake up call and some nights just a 6am – on occasion its 1am, 3am and 6am: I really don’t like those nights.…

Yes, we are now at the 3 month mark, not only does she just seem so diddy, she is so strong & alert, it just doesn’t seem right. You’d expect her to be this little newborn who just wants a cuddle. Oh no, this little lady has other plans… She wants to be standing all…

So we have now got to the 10 weeks stage, double figures, it sounds so scary, but I think 2 and a half months old sounds a little scarier. If I’m honest. Weve been enjoying our summer family holiday in Ibiza and I’m happy to say Isla has been very good and seems to have…

Yes, you read correctly, Isla had her 6 week check today at 7 weeks old, the doctors couldn’t get us in before hand. On one of the hottest days that I can remember for this year so far, off we went to the doctors, to get weighed, checked – oh and poop all over the…

Isla is 5 weeks old today, I know I said this last week but where has it gone? The weeks are just whizzing past and I hardly feel like I have blinked before its another week milestone again. This week I have started to get Isla’s corner decorated with her pinkness, the “kids” (OMG I…

This first month has been amazing and difficult, all at once, but I certainly wouldn’t change it for the world. Whoever told me that having 2 under 2 would be very hard to start with, wasn’t lying! I am hoping that the latter part of their advice “It will get easier” wasn’t a lie either.…

Well, week 1 was eventful, but a lot less stressful the second time around from what I remember, there are stresses in other forms though! This time, instead of being stressed about Isla it’s stressful trying to get everything sorted and making sure Noah is ok and Isla is ok… The best one is when…

So, as weve discovered this baby has the same mind set as Noah did: being late! Fashionably late I hope, in that it’s nice to mummy! The due date had been and gone but it was an eventful night none the less… It appears that the events are normal and that it doesn’t mean labour…

Today I had my midwife check for 37 weeks, she was a nice midwife and the one I saw last time. So we went from having a stressful time last check up due to Noah being a menace to this time , where he spent the entire appointment crying because I’d woken him up taking…

This week has been quite hard, in a number of ways… Firstly because Noah wasn’t walking, it meant a lot of picking him up and carrying him to places, it also effected the way he plays because he was depending on me to entertain him more so than normal. This did get better throughout the…
