Who doesn’t love a onesie? Except for my husband, but I am sure he just says he doesn’t to be cool – I came home the other day and he was wearing my bambi onesie, so I am sure he really would like one. I think they are a brilliant idea, why should little babies only have the benefits from them? They are great for snuggling in, especially when it gets colder in the evenings and you are not quite ready to crank the heating up to full blast. A constant battle in our house!

Style up your onesie

How would you style up your onesie? Well what I do with mine is put on my light pyjamas underneath my onesie so that when I go to bed I can just slip the onesie off and get into bed, all warmed up. I often snooze on the sofa in the evenings before I make it to bed, it is lovely being all snuggled in my onesie. My children are a huge fan of Bambi so it was fun wearing my George onesie around the house, they laughed at me and wanted one of there own.

So under the onesie is light pyjamas, I have mousey slippers to match the animal theme of the Bambi onesie and I have included a lovely blanket and a wintery cushion to really get in that snuggly mood:

  1. Bambi onesie £14.00
  2. Lace trim cami top £5.00
  3. Bow pyjama shorts £5.00
  4. Mouse ballet slippers £6.00
  5. Blue blanket by George home £7.00
  6. Jingle cushion by George home £9.00

I think it is a great little collection, sum total of £46 and I have some lovely snuggly items for autumn/winter and a couple of great home items for my lounge which will look great over the Christmas period. I had my bunny slippers on when I took the photos of my Bambi onesie, they are now known as my “thumper” slippers by the children.
