It’s the start of a new year of Me and Mine and I am going to try my best to get a photo of my beautiful family each month, so that I can join in with the other wonderful families out there. I love the co-hosts blogs and their family photos, it is so inspiring and I just love getting photos of my little lot too. This month it was an easy choice to make as we spent New Year in Cumbria and started our year off with a bang, the one of the largest waterfalls in England; High Force.

For some reason Noah is going through this stage of doing a “silly smile”, purposefully when asked to say cheese. We have just learnt to ignore it now and let him get on with it, its not the sort of location where you can just go and take another photo at a later date. I do love the photos still, they make me smile, regardless of the silly Noah face. We even managed to get a nice one of Daddy and I, which I just love. It was so peaceful and just lovely, to sit and watch the river flowing over the cliff edge and into the river bed below, it sounded awesome too. Such a strong flow, it is quite overwhelming.

Oh these are such lovely photos Sonia, what a beautiful setting and beautiful place to see in the New Year. So glad that you are going to join us this year, it’s lovely to have that excuse to get snaps of our families together… especially when they are as gorgeous as yours. Thanks so much for linking up with Me and Mine. x

Oh what a gorgeous setting for a photo; it’s a beautiful and very mesmerising spot, and you all look so snug and warm and happy together. And I love Noah’s smile- the funny faces are wonderfully real and part of who he is right now, and definitely worth remembering!
