#Recipe – Creme Egg chocolate fudge cake

#Recipe – Creme Egg chocolate fudge cake

I was thinking of ways to use Creme eggs in my baking, I love Creme eggs and what with Easter just around the corner I thought I would experiment. Now, it is not the most perfect looking cake, I know that, but the thought was there and next time I will perfect my icing skills. So essentially I made a chocolate fudge cake, when sliced through the middle it looks like an egg with the whites and the yoke. The outside is covered in chocolate icing and then Renshaw Melts to colour the outside to look like a Creme Egg wrapper. I made a video of me making the cake: VIEW the POST

My Red Nose Day contribution 2015 #RND15

So, I felt like I wanted to do something this year. I don't have all the time in the world to spare to organise fantastic events like other people have been doing and watching #TeamHonk doing their amazing fundraising activities, it has really inspired me to do something. Now something for me that was within arms reach and something I just love doing was to sing. What better song to sing than the Red Nose Day song from Sam Smith and John Legend. VIEW the POST

Me and Mine {January}

It’s the start of a new year of Me and Mine and I am going to try my best to get a photo of my beautiful family each month, so that I can join in with the other wonderful families out there. I love the co-hosts blogs and their family photos, it is so inspiring and I just love getting photos of my little lot too. This month it was an easy choice to make as we spent New Year in Cumbria and started our year off with a bang, the one of the largest waterfalls in England; High Force.

Take a cruise with me…

After spending two weeks in Turkey and a couple of boat trips, I feel completely inspired to explore the unpopulated scenery and the views from the coastlines. It looked completely magical and I loved the fact that we visited only places that you can reach by boat. A cruise must be so much more magical than that… think of the amazing things you could see on the Turkey coastlines and secrets you could unfold.
