A girl or a boy? Now that is the question!!

Everyone keeps asking me what I would prefer a little pink bundle or a little blue one and I have to honestly say that I do not mind either way. Some people want 1 boy and 1 girl, but I would be perfectly happy with either.

I would love Noah to grow up with a brother, so he has someone to play with and read to and make boy things with. I can picture bedtime now, stories about boy things and listening to them nattering away once our backs were turned. But on the other hand having a little girl would be sweet and I know Noah would grow up to look after her. It would be very cute watching an older brother look after his younger sister.

I love the fact that either way, the blue or pink bundle will be looked after by its big brother, Noah and because there will be such a small gap, I am certain it will not make a difference for the early years what sex numero 2 is.

If we have a little girl, she will just have an older brother and Daddy watching her every move when she grows up! Gosh.

26 week bumpometer:

This week the bump measures: 92 cms and I still weigh around the 9st mark. I think because I used the scales on the carpet last time, it threw the measurements out, I put them back on the bathroom tiles and now its back to normal… phew! Even I thought it was impossible to gain a stone in a week.

What do you think?

I think once you have one already, people expect you to want the opposite gender the next time around. Having a boy already, I would like to have a girl eventually, but I’m honestly not that bothered if I have a girl or boy next time. I’d like to have 3 or 4 in the end so I’m not in a hurry to get a girl just yet.
I know someone with 4 boys and she is constantly asked whether she was trying for a girl, she genuinely wasn’t, she’s so happy with her troop of boys. I think once they are here, that you’re happy whatever happens.
Having said that, I was thrilled I got a boy first because that was what I really, really wanted.

After having 2 boys and becoming pregnant again everyone kept asking me what I wanted and this time. My boys wanted a little sister, myself and the OH wanted another boy! And guess what we got? Yes! another boy! I do wonder now what it would be like to have a little girl and sometimes do crave to do girly things, like plait hair and do sparkly crafts. It is hard being the only female in the house but I wouldn’t change it for anything. I’m sure what ever sex your little bundle is, he/she will be adored by Noah and loved greatly by yourselves.
And OMG aren’t you tiny! You look amazing in your photos 🙂
