Foreo ISSA Mini
This ISSA mini toothbrush, the blue one in the photo, is a great toothbrush for young children. It’s slightly larger than the micro and so perfect for slightly larger smiles. It is a sonic toothbrush, with a 265 battery life. I couldn’t believe it when I heard that. Mummy & Daddy have to charge their electric toothbrushes every couple of weeks. So this is great functionality. The sonic pulse is developed so that it doesn’t hurt your child’s gums. The brush is made out of silicone too which is nice and soft – but still cleans your teeth.
One of the fab things with this toothbrush is that there is a cool light feature when it’s time to be used. Great for when the children tell me they have cleaned their teeth – but they actually haven’t!
This ISSA mini toothbrush is £99. You can buy brush heads to replace the brush, whenever you want. Which is great too. It means you can keep this toothbrush for a long time.
Foreo Mikro
This mikro toothbrush, the pink one in the photo, is slightly smaller than the ISSA mini and so fits perfectly for slightly smaller smiles. It is perfect for children aged 0 – 5 years old. It is the only baby electric toothbrush on the market and has softer pulses than the ISSA mini.
There are two modes with this toothbrush: brush mode and massage mode. Which I think is just brilliant. Brush Mode effectively cleans teeth in a completely nonabrasive way, and Massage Mode delivers a soothing gum massage , all while encouraging your children to form healthy oral-care habits.
The Mikro toothbrush is £79. You can use it from birth, even before any teeth appear, using ISSA mikro will reduce bacteria in the mouth by clearing away food fragments and residue while soothing your baby’s teething pain.
