Every little helps with Tesco’s Delivery Saver

Every little helps with Tesco’s Delivery Saver

Shopping with two children, especially this time of year, is just incredibly frustrating. For both parents and the children no doubt.  Running around the store with the two of them, arguing about what they can and cannot have. Noah claiming that he needs the next Lego set which costs over £20 and Isla screaming because she wants the entire girls’ toy aisle, and not forgetting the cakes. Oh Coco pops. And all the Easter items that are in store at the moment. It’s much easier getting it all delivered, exactly when I want it and for free! This is what the Tesco's Delivery saver can offer you.  VIEW the POST

Are we ready for the first day of school?

Are we ready for the first day of school?

Yes, next week is going to be the very first day at big school for Noah. So technically it isn't Back to School with us, it is the very start of school. How can it be that time in our lives already where we are buying school uniforms? I probably say that far too much! But, in saying that I do believe we are ready for it! Noah is very ready to start school, you can see it in the things he does. So we have been busy online buying their F&F personalised school uniform and getting their feet measured and hair cut of course. I think we are ready.  VIEW the POST

A Christmas style turkey burger with a summer twist

I know, its half way through the year and no where near Christmas, but I am already thinking about my favourite things. My favourite food combinations at Christmas are: turkey, cranberry and cheeses! It doesn’t have to be December for me to enjoy a turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce sandwich. This inspired me for a new recipe: a summer twist on a winter favourite. I had never tried it before and I was pleasantly surprised with it’s outcome. …

A quick recipe for Victoria Sponge

A quick recipe for Victoria Sponge

I absolutely love victoria sponge cakes: they are quick and easy to make and taste delicious with a cup of tea. The sponge mix in this recipe is so light and fluffy, it is perfect and if you are in a hurry - don't worry! This took me an hour to make, I left it to cool for half an hour and then added the filling. I used a brilliant product to get this cake done quickly, Tesco do the Betty Crocker ready made icing and buttercream, so when I saw the vanilla buttercream style icing, I couldn't resist making a wonderful cake to have with it. #Recipe – Cajun turkey mince

#Recipe – Cajun turkey mince

This is a really tasty meal that you can make really quickly over the Easter holidays, we love it with basmati rice and natural yoghurt. You could have it with salad and new potatoes, or put it in a warm tiger bread roll with a dollop of natural yoghurt on top. It is really tasty. We used Tesco lean turkey mince to make our Cajun dish, we had never cooked with turkey mince before. It tastes a lot better and is not as greasy, I really enjoyed the dish. I prefer using turkey mince now, instead of beef.  VIEW the POST
