Yesterday we took a trip to Letchworth, packed the swimming costumes and towels and went for a splish, splash, splosh at Letchworth splash pool. It is a lovely park with a great splash pool, which is all free of charge to use. It is amazing and the children love it, we will definitely be paying another visit before the summer is out.

So whilst Mummy put her feet up a little, the kids had fun playing chase, playing run away from Daddy, jumping and splashing. It was just so nice to see them happy and enjoying just being together. Isla kept running off and Noah would say “Mummy, where’s my sister?” which was lovely to hear. They are getting on better the more little Isla is talking and believe me the words and sentences are flowing constantly now.

Daddy and I took the opportunity to get some photos of the little ones whilst they were busy being happy and I have to say they are some of the loveliest photo’s of the kids I have seen in a long while, obviously because they were happy to be free and running around – cooled off by the fun splash pool too. I have added a collection of my favourites from the day, there were quite a lot to choose from. It really felt like we were on holiday or something, it was a beautiful afternoon and it has really made me look forward to our summer holiday in Turkey. We will be getting plenty of photos then I am sure, if yesterday was anything to go by.
