For most tourists โ and even locals โ it can be an exciting experience to be in the middle of the hustle and bustle of a major city. Especially when the city is always changing, a constantly revolving door that is New York City can still be a little overwhelming. After a weekend of having too much fun and seeing the sights, just know that there are plenty of relaxing spaces within to help you unwind.VIEW the POST
On Mothers Day we managed to get out in the local park for an hour or so, usually we either rush around the park with the dogs or we go somewhere else. It was nice to just be at the park and be there! No rushing around. We enjoyed the space around us and explored, it was fun and we found some parts of the park that we hadn't seen before. We took a trip across to Norfolk on Sunday to visit some friends who had just moved house to a lovely, remote, location. The village was lovely and we made the most of the weather to get some fresh air at the park. The children had fun playing with some friends and so did Daddy! The weather is really starting to turn frosty, time to wrap up nice and snuggled.
We have spent the first part of our half term holiday in glorious sunshine, Wales is always raining and cloudy when we have been here before, but not this week. The coats and wellies have had to take a back seat and the swimming costumes have taken centre stage. It's been lovely. VIEW the POST
It's been a while since I have participated in #CountryKids, I couldn't resist this weekend. We went for a lovely walk in the woods yesterday and I managed to get some lovely photos. This is what October is all about in my opinion. Coats on, snuggly hats on and wellies of course. Fresh, crisp air and mountains of brown, crispy leaves to jump in. VIEW the POST
