We’ve had a fabulous break in 𝗥𝗵𝗼𝗱𝗲𝘀. It’s been just the time we needed to unwind. I’ve enjoyed spending the time as a family.⁣

I love being in a warm country, those warm nights and the smell of the heat off the pavement: it makes me 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆. Greece is so beautiful and the people are so friendly.⁣ A huge thank you to everyone at @blueseavillage for making us feel so welcome.

Here at @blueseavillage they have the best of all worlds. For all kinds of people. They have a private 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵, with free sun-loungers. There is a nice walk down to the beach too, with beautiful flowers and shrubs alongside the path.⁣
⁣
Then there is the 3 𝗽𝗼𝗼𝗹 areas back at the hotel: the quiet pool, the one by the bar and entertainment and the kiddies pool with the slides and splash zones.⁣
⁣
I think it’s 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘁 that all of the guests can spread out and find their favourite spot. ⁣

⛈️ Tonight we stood and watched the show… 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄. I’ve never seen lightning like this, so condensed and simultaneous storms all around each other.⁣

The fork lightning was 𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 at some points and I had to stop filming. We did worry this poor palm might get caught at one point. ⁣

💦 We certainly made a 𝘀𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗵 today!⁣

We’ve had a fab time exploring the resort, from the fun filled pools to the beautifully clear sea. It’s a great space for 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 at @blueseavillage because there it is so spread out. There’s the kiddies area, the party area and the quiet zone. Each with its own pool too! Not forgetting the beach.⁣
⁣
The food has been amazing. Fresh.Good choice for 𝘃𝗲𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 and 𝘃𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗻𝘀, I’ve tried lots of new yummy foods. Will share in stories tomorrow…⁣

I love this photo, it’s not often we get a photo of the 4 of us. The children are growing up so quickly, it’s really important to me to capture these memories. Noah will be taller than me soon (I have heels on in this photo).

We had a buffet breakfast at a local restaurant, 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸 around Priory Marina and then back to my sister in laws for afternoon tea and bunny cuddles.⁣

Today is a special day as it’s Rocky’s 15th birthday. I feel so lucky that I’ve shared the last 𝟭𝟱 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 with him. He is the most tolerant cat I’ve ever known.⁣
⁣
It’s safe to say he’s not my cat. He was Rambo’s. As soon as Hubby brought him home, Rambo and Rocky became 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀. They would snuggle together. They would play fight together. They would clean each other. ⁣
⁣
Rocky has been more sociable since we lost the dogs, I think he’s 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 them as much as we are. Our friends came over with their cocker a few weeks back and Rocky really wanted to say hello, but the doggie wasn’t so sure. It just proved how Rocky is feeling.⁣
⁣
Unfortunately, we’ve been told Rocky is unwell too, they believe he’s got a tumour in his nose. But he’s doing well on his meds and apart from a runny nose and eye, he seems in 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘀. So, today is a special birthday. ⁣

I’ve had a little pamper party today. The last 5 months has taken its toll on me, I’ve neglected myself a lot. So today, I did my nails, face treatment and hair treatment too! Thanks to @glaze_hair.⁣

𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 is absolutely amazing. The product is for brunettes with balayage, which is what I’ve had done. I’ll show some fab before and after shots on my stories.⁣

My hair feels really soft, smooth and it is so super shiny. I love it. It’s a little bit of a toner and conditioning treatment all in one. It boosts the shade vibrancy whilst improving hydration and manageability.⁣ It feels so lovely and clean too.

🍩 Anyone else looking 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 to some sunshine and a break from routine next week? ⁣

I have officially completed the academic part of my 𝗱𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲. I have to now wait until mid July to get results. I’ve never been so nervous. But I’m glad it’s done. I nearly gave up about 20 times over the last 5 months when we lost the pups 🐾 , but I kept going… ⁣

So, I’ve now got half term to relax and enjoy some well earned time with my 𝘧𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘮. Goodness knows the hours I’ve lost spending time studying over the last 3 years. 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗜 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱𝗻’𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 & I’m looking forward to sunny adventures this Summer.⁣

Today’s been lovely, we started off with a visit to our friends new house and a lovely big hug from them all. It’s been too long and amazing how other people’s kiddies seem to grow up so much quicker than your own. Then we had a family dinner for my brothers birthday, which was just lovely and finished off with a kiddies party. Very busy. But it’s been nice to be busy.
