We had a buffet breakfast at a local restaurant, 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸 around Priory Marina and then back to my sister in laws for afternoon tea and bunny cuddles.⁣

Today is a special day as it’s Rocky’s 15th birthday. I feel so lucky that I’ve shared the last 𝟭𝟱 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 with him. He is the most tolerant cat I’ve ever known.⁣
⁣
It’s safe to say he’s not my cat. He was Rambo’s. As soon as Hubby brought him home, Rambo and Rocky became 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀. They would snuggle together. They would play fight together. They would clean each other. ⁣
⁣
Rocky has been more sociable since we lost the dogs, I think he’s 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 them as much as we are. Our friends came over with their cocker a few weeks back and Rocky really wanted to say hello, but the doggie wasn’t so sure. It just proved how Rocky is feeling.⁣
⁣
Unfortunately, we’ve been told Rocky is unwell too, they believe he’s got a tumour in his nose. But he’s doing well on his meds and apart from a runny nose and eye, he seems in 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘀. So, today is a special birthday. ⁣

I’ve had a little pamper party today. The last 5 months has taken its toll on me, I’ve neglected myself a lot. So today, I did my nails, face treatment and hair treatment too! Thanks to @glaze_hair.⁣

My hair feels really soft, smooth and it is so super shiny. I love it. It’s a little bit of a toner and conditioning treatment all in one. It boosts the shade vibrancy whilst improving hydration and manageability.⁣ It feels so lovely and clean too.

🍩 Anyone else looking 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 to some sunshine and a break from routine next week? ⁣

I have officially completed the academic part of my 𝗱𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲. I have to now wait until mid July to get results. I’ve never been so nervous. But I’m glad it’s done. I nearly gave up about 20 times over the last 5 months when we lost the pups 🐾 , but I kept going… ⁣

So, I’ve now got half term to relax and enjoy some well earned time with my 𝘧𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘮. Goodness knows the hours I’ve lost spending time studying over the last 3 years. 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗜 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱𝗻’𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 & I’m looking forward to sunny adventures this Summer.⁣

The thought of escaping away to a sun drenched vineyard this summer is so appealing. It’s been such a stressful few months and the end is now in sight.⁣

I’m coming to the end of my degree, I have a couple more hurdles to get through and I’m done. This week is quite a milestone as my final assessment is being handed in, hopefully tomorrow, then I get to kick back and relax for a little bit.⁣

Reading is one of my great escapes. I love to sit in my garden and read, especially when it’s a really good book. This book “𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘁 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝗩𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘆𝗮𝗿𝗱” by @lucycolemanauthor is a great escape! There’s just something about a love story, it’s a great read and the perfect ending!⁣

Very proud of my little man cub today… whose not so little anymore. He had 2 adult teeth extracted this morning, in preparation for a fixed brace fitting.

I knew what was coming to a certain extent but poor Noah didn’t. Thankfully the dentist knew the right tricks, he asked Noah to close his eyes so Noah couldn’t see the ghastly needle. 😱 Mummy on the other hand nearly passed out!

Then watching the dentist do a tug of war with 2 of Noah’s teeth was horrifying too. The force to pull out a tooth is quite considerable. I hadn’t really thought about it before. But the crunching sounds were 🤢.

He didn’t faint, albeit he nearly did and he hardly complained at all throughout the day. He is super brave and made me very proud.

It’s horrible seeing your babies in pain. The worst part is Noah has to have 2 more teeth removed in a few weeks & he’ll know what is going to happen.😱

Noah said he’s going to be poorly on that day! Haha!

A not so nice story but I tried to make it less gory for those that hate dentist or are just squeamish.

I thought I’d share my daily routine on #mentalhealthawarenessweek and tea plays a huge part of it. Ever since I was little “𝘵𝘦𝘢 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘰𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘶𝘦𝘴”. When Tetley sent me three varieties of their tea, I couldn’t wait to try them out.⁣ Thank you @tetleyuk.

𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 with a Gold Brew. It’s big, bold and bright. I always take 10 minutes every morning, with a fresh brew and have some moments of calm. It sets me up for the day, almost like I do a mental check list of the tasks for the rest of the day. Always high level at this point - too much detail can cloud your mind even further.⁣

𝗠𝗶𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗺𝗲 𝘂𝗽 with a Green Pure. This tea is smooth and naturally healthy. Perfect for a sunny break in the garden. Taking time away from my desk is so important. I got into horrible habits of sitting, slumped, for hours at my desk. Not only is it bad for my back, but bad for my mind. I love having an excuse for a mid morning pick me up.⁣

𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗻𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗱 with Super Herbal Sleep. Camomile, Lavender and Vanilla, complete with Vitamin B vitamins too, really helps me to unwind at the end of the day. My favourite activity is to have a hot bubbly bath at the end of the day and drink my Sleep tea. The hot bath helps me to relax and I read a book or watch my latest MAFS show, it really helps me to unwind.⁣

The busiest weekend. Ever! But worth it to see their 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 faces. Today was dance competitions and Isla’s team won 🥇 Yeah! And as captain of the dance team, Isla got to collect the trophy. It was so awesome.⁣

Very proud Mumma alert. She throws herself into these 𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 and takes it on without a care in the world. The only way I can tell she’s nervous is the adrenaline aftermath. She could not stop shaking afterwards. ⁣

Needless to say, Isla’s head hit the pillow tonight & she fell straight to sleep. ⁣

So so proud of this 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝘆 today. Up at 6am, at the competition for 7:30am… warm up and competing by 10:30am. Her team smashed it. She was shaking as she came off the dance floor. ⁣

Isla’s team came 𝟮𝗻𝗱 in her category which is amazing. There were some absolutely amazing performances and routines, it blows my mind how good they all are.⁣
⁣
Another day of competitions tomorrow, but tomorrow is lyrical jazz 𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲.⁣

🍊 I love a good skincare product and I’ve always loved The Body Shop. They have sent me their best selling Vitamin C skincare range to try out and see if it helps my skin 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗕𝗶𝗴! It certainly did that.⁣

I tried the new 𝗩𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻 𝗖 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘂𝗺 and 𝗩𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻 𝗖 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗼𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿. They are made with at least 90% natural origin ingredients & contain camu camu berry extract (one of natures richest sources of Vitamin C). They smell amazing and I love the texture of the moisturiser.⁣

There are so many benefits of using 𝗩𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻 𝗖 skincare products including reducing the appearance of uneven pigmentation and 24 hour hydration. My skin feels less tired and looks a lot brighter. The serum helps my complexion too, dull skin is a thing of the past. ⁣

Today I had a nice walk with the doggies after work; I left the kiddies doing their homework and Daddy cooking in his kitchen. It was nice this evening, not too cold but really windy. I went for a walk through the thick forest because I just love the sound of the wind racing through the trees. I imagined the wind was blowing away the rubbish few weeks. It felt good!
