Happy. Mental Health. This is not something I have talked about often, if at all publicly. With the push to make people more aware about mental health, I thought I’d share my story. Or at least a part of it. It’s been a tough journey which started nearly 6 years ago when I had my baby girl.
Pet owners often lead very busy lives, and it can sometimes feel difficult to give dogs the attention they deserve. No matter how busy your schedule might be, you must look for ways to prove to your dog how much you love them. To do so, read the 12 ways to show your pet you care. Even if you only manage some of them a day, it’s better than nothing. Our pets are like children to me, I love them dearly, but I do not have hours in the day sometimes to get everything done. It’s a juggling balance.
No matter what, we all have a family. From our parents, grandparents, siblings and extended family right through to our partners, children and grandchildren of our own in later life, family plays an important role throughout the course of life. Our family is a vital support network, one which provides us with all-important love, care, sympathy and words of kindness. Families should be there to help you out in your time of need – after all, who else will know you better than your close family!
Everything in the house can be cheered up by a little Disney. In my opinion anyway. With my parents-in-law currently in Disney land Florida, it inspired me to think about what I could do at home. I love Disney. Here are some of my fabulous ideas of ways to sprinkle a little Disney into your home:
Everyone deserves a little getaway once in a while. One of the perfect ways to spend your time off is having fun with your girlfriends. As long as you’re all together, you know it’ll be a wonderful vacation. Be sure to plan out the details ahead of time, so you’re not scrambling to come up with a destination right before the trip.
Life is buzzing, and you often find yourself running after time. We all do. But that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t take the time to stop and create a moment of peace for yourself, with your partner or with your children. After all, you can’t live a life of stress without recharging your batteries. Indeed, while you can find nutritious fuel for your body through the right food all day long, the fuel for your soul isn’t that easy to get by. That’s exactly why you need some me time, couple time and naturally family time. It’s important that you separate these types of emotional energy in your life. It is a common mistake for new mothers to focus so much on their role as a mummy that they forget that they are also a woman and a wife – or a girlfriend. You don’t need to choose your role; you can be a parent, a lover and a strong woman.
Hiring a photo booth service has become a popular trend in several countries and why it shouldn’t be? After all, they are used almost everywhere now, like birthday parties, anniversaries, weddings, corporate events, etc. There are a number of good and reliable service providers when it comes to photo booth hire in Scotland and rest of the UK. Although, you need to keep a few things in mind before going with a particular photo booth hire company for your event.
If your daughter is anything like little Isla, then a quiet spot in the house somewhere is the perfect place to sit and ponder. She creates these places and sits with her dolls reading stories or bushing their hair. It is really cute. She often sits and hides away being creative too, I want her to feel inspired to do this. Creating a little area for your child is a great way of giving them the okay to get busy with their imaginations.
I adore the beach at Wells-Next-The-Sea, from the carpark with the new Joules hut to the miles and miles of sand. I do not think we have ever been there and had a bad experience, it’s great for the dogs and the children as there is just so much to do and so much space to explore too.
Growing up I was not very confident about my body, my self esteem was quite low. That’s not to say I wasn’t confident, as I was in terms of speaking to peers and grown ups. I could read before I started school and would read to the class in reception. I didn’t like my body though. I am going to use how I felt growing up to try and encourage, using confidence building techniques, my children as they grow up.
