Don’t leave it until the house is an absolute tip (yeah I’m speaking from personal experience), I don’t always practise what I preach but cleaning little and often is the best way to keep on top of it. I do subscribe to the school of thought that says if something is so high that I cannot see the top of it, then there is clearly no dust up there 😀
clean each day so it doesnt all get on top of you!
I tend to clean as I am going. Every Tuesday I clean from top to bottom. It takes most of the day. My top tip is to have a big pile of cloths that can be thrown in the washer. It saves a fortune by not using kitchen roll, wipes etc

After a hard night of partying, red wine spills on the carpet are an all too familiar hazard. To clean them, douse the stains with soda water then dab with layers of paper towel. Continue until no colour shows on the paper towel.
