I love Spring time, it is my favourite season of them all and I probably said that about Autumn too. I love the colours, the sunnier weather, the breathe of fresh air and the feeling of cleanliness. Everything just seems clean, the Spring clean must just get under my skin and inspires me. Not only do I love Spring, but I love stationery. What better way to combine some of my favourite things. Katie Leamon cards have put a huge smile on my face today as they are just the most beautiful cards and notecards.

Katie Leamon is based in London and they make all of the cards themselves, handmade with incredible care and attention and you can see it in the cards. They aim to invoke a sense of nostalgia with their designs. You can purchase the lovely stationery on their website: www.katieleamon.com. You can also purchase them at luxury stores like: Selfridges, Anthropologie, Harrods & Fortnum & Masons. The price of the cards, for example, the Mothers Day card is just under £4, I think is very reasonable. The cards are handmade, luxury card and the print of the gold on the envelope is a lovely finish. In comparison the cards you would purchase from a local supermarket are not handmade, not luxury card and do not have that sense of quality about them. Sometimes, like Mothers Day, it is good to push the boat out a little and buy something extra special.

The new Luxe collection has been released for Spring, offering a range of pastel colours and gold print. I really love the gold touches and I am a huge fan of the dotty patterns at the moment too.

I cannot wait to get writing the thanks notecards, they are just so lovely. The texture of the card and the unique pattern on the card – is like something I would want to design myself. It feels like it’s more personal as the design is very delicate and special. You can search for the different types of products on the website, so if you are only interested in the notecards you can filter to see only them. The photography is lovely on the website and really reflects how beautiful the stationery is. I think that’s quite important with products like this, sometimes a photo on a white background (a typical product photograph) just doesn’t cut the mustard.

You can see their products on the Katie Leamon website, you can follow their Facebook page and also tweet on Twitter with @katieleamon.
