My favourite Christmas song is now Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. My baby was born on the 23rd December and ended up very ill in intensive care in SCBU on Christmas Eve. Christmas Day was terrifying…but in the middle of her crying, very distressed, I started to sing Rudolph to her and she stopped crying and looked right into my eyes, then settled down to sleep in her little incubator.
