Today I spent the entire afternoon and early evening preparing, baking and cooking a 3 course meal for the 6 grown ups. With the help of Zoe, who has chef experience, we cooked: arancini balls and dough balls, cannelloni and profiteroles. All from scratch. I was amazed with what we did and what I learnt. I really enjoyed it. Whilst we were cooking, the kiddies went for a walk up tabletop hill with Daddy and some of the others. It was a nice day.
