Quornยฎ๏ธ challenged me to make a quick, delicious & meat free meal. ๐—ค๐˜‚๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ธ ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—น๐˜€ are perfect for lunchtimes whilst working from home. They are also perfect for family lunchtimes on a Saturday as we have little time after clubs.โฃ โฃ I used some ๐—ค๐˜‚๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ป ๐—–๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐˜€๐—ฝ๐˜† ๐—ก๐˜‚๐—ด๐—ด๐—ฒ๐˜๐˜€ to make a quick and tasty meal (since recording this I now use the ๐˜ข๐˜ช๐˜ณ ๐˜ง๐˜ณ๐˜บ๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ which is even quicker than the conventional oven).โฃ โฃ Being vegetarian is definitely made easier with Quorn products. They are tasty, usually quick to cook & versatile. Isla & Noah love these nuggets too, they prefer them to meat. Happy International Womenโ€™s Dayโ€ฆ Iโ€™m lucky enough to have grown up with independent & strong women all around me. Itโ€™s where I get my resilience & determination from. Itโ€™s something that I want to ensure Isla has too: to be resilient is to have patience and strength. To keep a smile, even if deep down itโ€™s painful. Determination is to have focus and passion. To keep going even if the end is not quite in sight. I can see a lot of this in her alreadyโ€ฆ she is far more confident than I ever was at 10 and she knows her own mind. Which I love. Now I need to make sure she has self confidence, self awareness and self love. So she can endure all that life throws at her and she can listen to her body & mind to guide her. I love that Iโ€™m still learning things about myself on this motherhood journey: some of those things Iโ€™m learning from Isla. Get cleaning the air fryer with meโ€ฆ ๐Ÿงผ A slightly different post from me tonight: a handy little tip for cleaning your air fryer.โฃ โฃ Thereโ€™s something about a cleaning tip that makes cleaning that bit ๐˜ฃ๐˜ฆ๐˜ต๐˜ต๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ. We use the air fryer everyday, we love it. Keeping it clean is important.โฃ โฃ So: โฃ โฃ โ–ช๏ธ add ๐—ณ๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—ฟ๐˜† ๐—น๐—ถ๐—พ๐˜‚๐—ถ๐—ฑ to the traysโฃ โ–ช๏ธ add water to ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ the plates inside the trayโฃ โ–ช๏ธ air fry for ๐Ÿฏ ๐—บ๐—ถ๐—ป๐˜€โฃ โฃ If youโ€™ve only been cooking vegetables and things like that then this is ๐˜ด๐˜ถ๐˜ง๐˜ง๐˜ช๐˜ค๐˜ช๐˜ฆ๐˜ฏ๐˜ต to clean the trays. Simply rinse and dry. โฃ โฃ If youโ€™ve cooked meats or food that sticks to the trays, like cheese, then give it a good wash afterwards. It was a birthday present & Iโ€™ve been saving it for a quiet weekend.โฃ โฃ I just love it. Itโ€™ll be the only flower I canโ€™t actually kill. I either water them too much or not enoughโ€ฆ it makes me quite sad. Isla is so close to her level 6 certificate. Sheโ€™s been coming on in leaps and bounds over the last few weeksโ€ฆ her confidence is definitely improving with her @gymfinitykids classes. Today was awards week for Islaโ€™s class, and I love they they dish out โ€œpart wayโ€ certificates to those who havenโ€™t quite levelled up yet. Everyone gets a certificate. Itโ€™s so lovely. Tonight I started a new project inspired by my lovely friend Ellie who writes at Walnut Tree Home, its a triple yarn blanket using just double crochet stitch and I love it. You can make it really quickly and easily and also mix fab colours together.
