What with it being World Book Day this week, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to hold a competition to win some books. But not just any books: Topic Packs from Oaka Books. These are perfect to help visual learners with revision topics and are great for all children. From key stage 1 to GCSE level, there are plenty of topic packs to choose from.
What do I win in this amazing competition?
Oaka Topic Packs are designed for dyslexic and SEN pupils to make curriculum-based topics accessible for them, even if their reading or comprehension skills are weak. With the loss of classroom time over the past two years, being able to help struggling pupils get back up to speed is essential for their progression.
Using Oaka Topic Packs, pupils will understand and remember topics more quickly, giving them valuable time for catching up on life in general, whilst keeping up academically.
Having started with the aim to help struggling readers access the curriculum, it quickly became clear that Oaka’s unique way of presenting information was great for ALL pupils.
Oaka Books’ packs are being used to help thousands of children achieve their potential with our unique revision guides that are designed for visual learners.
Teachers constantly tell us that using our packs has changed the way pupils view their learning. Home educators love our products as they help their children re-engage with their learning, creating an effective learning structure that is easy to use.
Oaka Books’ aim is always to present information in a visual way, together with active learning techniques to help pupils move information from their short term to long term memories.
Isla is currently studying the Stone Age and this Topic Pack looks great; there is a glossary of key words, there is a timeline of key events and activities.
You will get to choose 5 topic packs if you win!
