My 1st Years have created a fanstastic infographic showing all the things about a babies 1st birthday, to celebrate little Prince George's first birthday.  Babies have incredible 1st years and Prince George is no exception, I loved looking back at all the things babies go through in their first year. It was great to reminice about my little babies when they were approaching their first birthdays. As part of Isla Rae's birthday present from Daddy, and a little treat for Mummy too - we were shown a beautiful video that Daddy had made of Isla Rae's first year. It was amazing and after the christening yesterday, he gathered all the family and friends around the big screen and pressed play. We were all captivated, for the whole 20 minute video.VIEW the POST

I have found it difficult today  and in no way shape or form can it compare to that of Jennie and her husband. Jennie lost her little baby princess at 9 months old and Matilda Mae was only 8 days older than Isla Rae, you can probably empathise with why it has been a difficult day now! Today is Matilda's first birthday. I have tried not to think about next week today, as my princess is one next week and I feel guilty. I feel guilty for having my baby girl and preparing all the things I have for her birthday and her christening on the 12th May and that Jennie, well she has prepared for today in a completely different way. My little dinky Isla Rae is going to be 1 years old in 2 weeks time, I remember when Noah turned one and I felt like the year had gone so quickly and in comparison this year has gone so much quicker. We have done so much this year, including a trip on an aeroplane and a trip to Wales for New Year; lots of family events and friends events where Isla has met lots of little people to play games with over the next few years and we have come so far in relation to being a family of 4!
