That’s right! At the bottom of our garden we have a field and in that field lives a herd of cows. They all look pregnant too. Isla and Noah are cow whisperers. They had them all at the fence whilst they sang to them….
So, this happened today…. Noah’s top tooth was so wobbly it was causing him discomfort when he was eating his dinner. He gets anxious about taking them out. So daddy helped him along. Just before he went to bed it was out and ready for the tooth fairy! Yippee.
After school we went to Great Grandmas to see her and have dinner. It was a lovely evening and it was nice to spend time in the garden. The kiddies helped water the flowers which was nice. And two ducks came up to the back door to be fed. It was cute.
This is a shot from my morning stroll in the park, 7am and it was glorious already. The sun was beaming down towards me, the dew was covering the carpet of grass and the birds were singing in the oak trees all around me. It was a lovely moment. It is nice to have some mindful moments, especially after such a horrible start to the week for Manchester and the busy lives we all have.
Today has been an odd day, it started off very emotional and little Noah was devastated by the news of the explosion. I then found that I just couldn’t concentrate at work today – I had a lot of paperwork to do too. Then I sorted the garden out when I got home with the kiddies. Isla and Noah enjoyed playing with the water and Barbies and Super Heroes. It was a nice evening in the sunshine.
Today was a busy one, but a calm busy one. Does that make sense? Noah had beavers, where he had to share some photos that he’d taken. And Isla had great fun being nosey when we went to pick him up. I sneaked in on them playing- I love hearing their imaginations whirring.
Today, no, this entire weekend has been so stressful. I am not sure if its a combination of tiredness from all four Constants. Or if it is just the little ones. Noah has been extremely hard work this weekend. Emotional, grumpy, rude, irritating and just not himself. I feel absolutely worn out. I managed to get some nice photos of them. I had to use games and mathematical sums to chill them out for long enough to snap away! Lets hope a nice big sleep makes a difference for tomorrow.
This photo sums up the day, entirely! Rain + bored children + restless Daddy = very stressful day! Daddy wanted to get out with the children, he managed to before the rain kicked in at lunchtime. Everyone seemed tired today. Noah cried about everything bless him. Its horrible when you are so tired you are really emotional about everything. It took a lot of patience to get through the day.
