Despite the happiness that is coming across in this photo, it’s been a long four days! Well five I suppose, if you include Friday evening in the mix. Little mans behaviour has been so intense! Argumentative, shouting, aggressive, irrational, fierce and just unkind. Not how we raised him at all. I have no idea whats going on but the sticker charts are coming back out…
Today I went and sat outside for lunch, made the most of the sunshine before the rains hit again. Thankfully, they held off and I had a lovely break – it was so peaceful and I loved the reflections in the lake! I love the big white fluffy clouds too, they are happy clouds.
Today we went to Parklife at Milton Country Park, it was fun and the kiddies did loads of activities: den building, bushcraft, wall climbing, bouncing on the bouncy castle, cycling, smoothie making and watching the water sports. All whilst Mummy worked!
Another hill rep HIIT session at the park with Daddy and the kiddies helping me to keep going. It’s so lovely to be right by the park, we are a 5 minute walk from this place and it’s huge and full of wildlife. I love it. I feel the hill reps are going much better than the other HIIT sessions I have been doing.
It was bring a Daddy to school day today, the kiddies loved having Daddy in class. They seemed to do a bit more than when I went into class back in March. Isla was having a phonics lesson, she loves reading and writing. Noah is really good at reading too, Daddy was impressed!
Today I went to Surrey to get my hair sorted at my Uncles salon, Chymes. It was a lovely day as I had time to chill out and reflect. I needed it. Things have been quite hectic at home and at work recently, so it was lovely. Grandma had her hair done too. I haven’t had a whole head of foils for 4 years… I love it!
The kiddies enjoyed bouncing around on the trampoline with Uncle Roy this evening. They were all dripping after 20 minutes. It’s amazing how much fun bouncing on a trampoline can be… It seemed a lot cooler today, which was nice.
Hubby taught me how to do a good HIIT session, at the park. All I needed was the hill and a drink! Hill reps are great as it gives your body a good workout and you really don’t feel like you are doing it. I did 15 hill reps, in around 15-20 minutes and my heart rate raised to 160bpm. It was a great cardio workout. Followed by a little sunset footy.
Poor little Isla couldn’t sleep in her own bed, it was too hot. So she came and got in with me, it was nice to have some company as Daddy has been sleeping downstairs – too hot for him too! Its amazing, this heat came out of no where, it was raining and miserable two weeks ago. Not complaining though.
This morning Daddy and Noah had a lot of fun, they booked onto Ride Leisure at Wyboston Lakes and completed the many activities of the inflatable assault course. Check out the video on my Instagram which demonstrates Daddy catapulting Noah 10ft into the air, bless him. But he enjoyed it and got home and asked Daddy to do it again.
