Yep, I have been watching a lot of friends this week, which obviously inspired the title. This is a post about what got me started on the blogging road and how this blog kicked off. I think it's important to remember what inspired you to write in the first place and it also might be helpful if anyone is just starting off. The existence of fashion trends date back hundreds of years. They signified to show how much extra money and leisure time you had. They signified your level in society, suggested your connection to royal families, that sort of thing. We love BEAR, they are always perfect for snacks and lunches when we go out at the weekends. My children do not have packed lunch at school, but if they did they would most definitely want Yoyos in their lunchboxes. I was on a long journey with my grandma last week, those journeys where conversations can lead from one thing to another quite quickly. On this particular journey Grandma responded to one of my comments with "we didn't have fridges when i was younger and we coped". It got me thinking about how life is so different now compared to 80 years ago, Grandma didn't have a fridge let alone an iPad - how would Noah and Isla feel about that? VIEW the POST
Today, as you may have seen all over the news, the Flying Scotsman took a trip from London’s Kings Cross to York. It all started at 8:45am when I got a text from my Mumma saying she was waiting at the end of her road to see it whoosh by. Then as I got the children in the car, for the school trip, I asked “shall we go and see the special steam train?” and of course the reply was a big YES.
