Since starting up the #MummyPhotoADay challenge, Noah and Isla have mostly gotten used to having our camera with us when we go out and about. Taking photographs has become an established part of our lives, and Iโm so grateful for it. Taking family pictures feels the same as keeping a personal journal, except that albums have memories from everyoneโs perspective. Every photograph captures not just a moment, but a prompt for your mind to uncover a rich memory.ย

Parenthood is hard. There is no parent out there that will say itโs easy because it takes so much from you. I’ll start off by saying they don’t just take, those children of yours, but when you spend your whole life being you, itโs hard to give up some of you to be mum and dad. It then ends up that you become only mum and dad for a while, forgetting that before your cherubs came along, you were husband and wife. You had fun and romance and a lot of love for eachother, and while that love hasn’t changed, you certainly do things differently now. You need to think about how you can keep the relationship alive while you navigate feeds, nappies and endless sleepless nights.
Coming back to pictures and memories can definitely help everyone survive this lockdown and keep positive. I recently discovered Colorland and they have really helped to brighten up my home and seeing these wonderful memories every day, is certainly bringing a smile to my face. Colorland have also offered my readers a special discount too!ย So, we have added some finishing touches to our home, to get us through lockdown with a smile on our faces.

WOW! What a month it has been. I think because March has been so ever-changing, it has actually flown by really quickly. I thought I would recap the March photo challenge 2020 with my favourite photos from all that took part in #mummyphotoaday.

Thanks for coming to #SilentSunday on 13 October 2019. We have been very busy over the past week; clubs, decking, housework and making everywhere Autumnal. I love it. What have you been up to?
