Visiting the capital with the family this Autumn

Visiting the capital with the family this Autumn

London is a reliable draw for tourists from across the world, and from right here in the UK, too. If you’re planning a trip to the capital, then there are few better times of year to see it than during autumn. You’ll get just enough daylight to see all the sights outdoors, the weather’s mild enough that you can be comfortable in the open air for extended periods. You can also expect sparser crowds, which is great news for those looking for accommodation. Head over during November and take advantage of the best holiday apartments London has to offer. Free days out with the kids: Rutland Water

We even ventured around Hyde Park for a little while to cool off and then finished up with a trip to Prezzo. Yum. The kiddies really enjoyed learning lots of new things, although it did get quite hot walking around the museums and therefore there were a few grumpy moments. VIEW the POST

Out and about with the perfect backpack

Out and about with the perfect backpack

We go out and about a lot as a family. Sometimes with friends and sometimes with extended family. Sometimes on our own. Needless to say, no matter who we are with we always need a backpack that holds just enough, comfortable & cool. Of course. This Minecraft Creeper backpack is a great find on the noisy sauce website.  VIEW the POST

The best Easter days out for families

Whether it’s the windfall of chocolate, the promise of an Easter egg hunt or the two weeks off school – kids love the Easter holidays. And for the first week, so do parents. Then the ideas slowly start to run out. How many museums can you trek around before the little ones get bored? Is it really warm enough outside to go to the park? Is it justifiable to stay in all day watching CBeebies and colouring in – again? …
